Upcycled from a well-worn, favorite pair of black linen trousers (the seat was blown out and they were beyond repair). Contrasting thread and zig-zag stitching were used to piece it together. The trouser's patch pockets add interest to the design while remaining functional. The ties are made from the trousers' drawstring, which was cut in half, ends knotted, and attached to both sides -- tied into a bow, they secure the top of the bag. Reverse side is made out of oatmeal color, small floral print, 100% cotton, made in Japan. The pattern was downloaded from verypurpleperson.com and printed on an HP printer. The pattern was perfectly scaled and the instructions easy to follow. Thank you verypurpleperson for a veryfunproject!
